Il a commencé le kayak à l'age de neuf ans suite à la découverte du stade d'eaux-vives de Lannion, licencié du club, il s'entraîne à présent au pôle fédéral de Toulouse.

Pour sa quatrième participation seulement à une grand compétition internationale, il obtient le titre de champion du monde dans une discipline très dense. Cette victoire offre du même coup un quota olympique pour cette discipline à l'Équipe de France.

Elle débute la gymnastique acrobatique en 1989 suivant ainsi l'exemple de sa s½ur, Ashley Kupets.

À l'âge de 18 ans, elle remporte la médaille de bronze aux jeux Olympiques d'été de 2004 en barres asymétriques ainsi que la médaille d'argent en gymnastique acrobatique féminine par équipe.
